Greenmeadow has a great aquatics program with high quality instruction, particularly for new swimmers.  My five year old boy has really enjoyed working with his coach who has done a great job making him feel comfortable and helping him progress. Michael D.

The Greenmeadow Marlins is our community swim team which runs from April through to mid July. Swim team provides a fun and social way for your child to improve and develop lifelong swimming skills and meet new friends in a supportive team environment. Attending swim meets is great way for kids to strive for personal bests while enjoying a vibrant team atmosphere with friendly competition.

Swimmers are divided into groups by age and swimming ability: practice duration ranges from 45 minutes for the kids aged from five to eight years, up to 75 minutes for teens.

Teenagers on the team act as mentors to the younger kids to help them be their best, and cheer them on.

Parents are also involved with meet jobs such as operating a stop watch, and this is a great way to meet and get to know other swim team families.

Swim team participants must be members of the GMCA.

The Greenmeadow Marlins are part of the JSSL Swim League, which is a summer-only league comprising six small, neighborhood community clubs.

Go Marlins!

Meet CoachTisha Steimle

We were new to the swim team two years ago when we joined and the experience was even better than we had hoped for! The Marlins have a real sense of community and togetherness that makes it like a second family thanks to things like the Friday potlucks, the 4th of July celebration and the pep rally for Champs. We love the Marlin swim team! Bill & Katie A.

Limor is a phenomenal teacher, yogi, and person.  I love her yoga flow classes — they are nurturing, challenging, and supportive all at the same time — as well as really fun!  I can absolutely say that any week that I get on the mat in her classes is a great week. Rania B.
